Day 11

 

It was cold and slippy this morning but it was also my gee-I-hope-this-works first running day. 

I am happy to say that I jogged for the first time in a long time.

I’m doing the og couch to 5K program. I’ve used it before and I love it.

If all goes well it will get me into halfway decent jogging shape over the next 9 weeks.



I love running and was so happy to be at it. 
My feet hurt and I iced them and I really hope I can push enough but not too much and that this works. 
One of the main things I would like to get from my 75 something is running. 
Fingers crossed.


I thought I’d start tracking and posting some metrics now that I’m fully in this challenge. 
So today I reveal that I have been moving more. 
This is no surprise and not that particularly impressive except for the fact that this is a record only of my steps and doesn’t include my daily Pilates or my gym/ swimming supplemental stuff. 


My entertaining nature encounter today was this bold as brass doe who refused to move any further from me than this.
I did my Pilates in the evening and felt so tired and stiff but I got it done.
It was a good hydration day. I think my body is getting used to the extra water.
72oz plus a coffee plus a smoothie today.
I read about pancakes and potatoes and back tracked to dairy.
