Day 6

Day six arrived and brought with it the expected period and headache.

It was cloudy and wet and when I got up I could feel the migraine coming.

My son had an AP test and wanted to leave early so I got up and out of bed after a dreadful nights sleep and got moving.

Today was Thursday and the day I had originally decided to start 75 something.

I was so proud of myself for getting out there.


My feet got wet as soon as I got onto the trails and I felt extra tired and draggy.



But I love the woods and the green and the birds were going like gangbusters to make up for yesterday’s rain day. 



Then off to drop off kids and get to work. 

I told my boss that I might leave early because of my head then took 2 Advil and a coffee and crossed my fingers. 

I spent the morning moving gently and drinking as much as I could. 

It worked!!!

By lunchtime I was headache free. 

I was so happy. 

Then home and grocery shopping and cooking dinner and doing Pilates. 

Pilates floor routine with cramps is the pits. 

It was my worst performance by far. All my stretches felt tight and all the core work cramped my stomach and back. 

30 days in a row had to include a period so here we are. 

It was a very grit your teeth and get it over with work out. 

But I did it and am cautiously hopeful about how well the had treatment went. 

I read more Food Lab, probably about 24 pages because I’m in the potato section now and that’s unputdownable.

So far so good. 

64 oz of water plus a coffee and a kombucha. 

Not terrible and I even felt thirsty some today.
