This morning’s walk was by the Potomac with a trash grabber and a bag.
I went out early, 5:04 is when I got up but we didn’t make it to the river till about 6:30.
It was a fishing and river clean up trip. I don’t eat fish so normally on these trips I just hike and take pictures. This time however I scrambled up and down banks and hopped in and out of shallows grabbing beer cans and trash.
We were done by 8 and I got my steps in.
I also got a bit of a headache. By the time we had eaten breakfast it was a full blown headache.
When we got home I took two Advil and went straight to bed.
I woke up awhile later and it had gotten worse.
I took a sumatriptan and a hot shower and crossed my fingers.
We had reservations for lunch/brunch today so we could celebrate Mother’s Day without the crowds.
Somewhere between the biscuits and the 1plus oz of water and the pills kicking in, my headache finally went away.
This staying in top of things is really paying off. I think if things keep going this well I really will be able to do all 75 days.
Fingers crossed.
For the afternoon workout I went out for a hike and did Pilates when I got home.
I was working today!
Trying to get my legs straightened and my form improved.
But
It was much earlier and I’m pleased with the progress. Plus no cramps today. Huzzah!
I read and argued with The Food Lab. If like to have words with that guy about his biscuits.
I disagree with some of his techniques.
55-60oz of water with is pretty good given how much I was in bed and how little I can ingest with a headache.
I felt stronger today.
That was great.
