Today I convinced my husband to come out with me in the morning.
It was cold and beautiful.
He ran while I walked.
Where I live is pretty hilly so I got to see him on the switchbacks in addition to when he came back my way.
I drank a full 24 oz of water on that hike. It’s much easier to drink while moving. I noticed that back in the Camino I was drinking a ton more than normal.
It was another busy day with the weeks laundry and cooking and taking my girl to a friends house.
In the afternoon I went to the gym and rode the bike.
I love the bike games but I don’t think I’m going to do a ton more of that because it broke up my day so much.
One thing I see from this end of the challenge is just how much time commitment it’s going to be.
If I want to try for 30 days straight of Pilates I cannot also swim and bike and circuit train.
It’s too much and too spread out.
I need to work on planning that out better.
Then in the evening I made dinner and went to my club to talk with another member about a quilt we are doing (plus hand off some fabric) then drop off some plants for another friend and then home for day two of the Pilates.
I genuinely thought I was having stomach cramps today and as soon as I started the Pilates I realized what was really going on.
What had been fun and hard yesterday was just plain efforts and soreness today.
I drank more water and foolishly dropped some on the floor trying to carry to many things.
I think I’m at around 72 oz right now but I’ll have more before bed.
We got the trash up the hill and the laundry folded and put away so we are as ready for the week as we can be.
Tonight 10 more pages of Food Lab.
