Day 32



 


Here we go week four of couch to 5K. This morning I did two sets of run 3 minutes/walk/ run 5 minutes. I think some time in the next few weeks I’m going to have to add a new section so I am still running on paths when the time is up. 
It was a miserable slow shuffling jog today. 
I slept for crap and I’m bleeding like a stuck pig. My back hurts, my head hurts and I’m nauseous. 
I nearly threw up my water at the end and my jog looked like a zombie in advanced decay. 
Ugh
Both my knees hurt and I’m hoping that’s just the period and not the step up to P90 from yesterday. 
We shall see. 
Today’s my group picnic and I know a few people are leaving straight after instead of heading back to the lab. 
That sounds super appealing. 

The picnic was good. I felt better after eating and resting. I always have a picnic blanket in my car so I took that out. While everyone else was chatting and socializing I laid in the shade and listened to a book and took a small walk. 
My head got much better after the rest and I was able to drink again. 
I stayed for the whole day of work and when I went home after making myself and my family som Cuban comfort food my husband and I did the sculpt day of P90. 


The sculpt day has weights and lunges. 
I am using the tiniest weights we have but the first time we did this I didn’t use any weights at all on the A section (the first 30 days) so there’s improvement. 
I must be careful of my knees with the lunges and of my elbows with the weights (I have hyperextended joints). 
I’m so proud of myself for even trying this given how I feel today. 


Me defeated my a 3lb weight. 
I read about salads tonight. I love salads. That was very nice. 
I didn’t drink enough water today. 
Something like 62 oz plus a coffee. 
Tomorrow is another day.
